Good Morning my friends…
Today we shall talk about value. Not mine, but yours.
I’m sure some of you have heard this before, but I will still share this for the benefit of the rest. For some, though you might have heard it, but you might not be practicing it. SO! Let’s let it flow…
I was in a training with a few hundred participants. Before the crowd, I held out a crisp fifty-dollar bill and asked them, “Who would like this fifity-dollar bill?” Hands started going up everywhere.
I told them I’m going to give that fifty-dollar bill to one of them. BUT, I’ll need to do something to the bill first. I crumpled up the bill. Then I asked again, “Who still wants it?” The same hands went up in the air.
THEN! I dropped the bill on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with my shoe. Picked it up , all crumpled and dirty. Same question I asked ,”Now, who still wants it?” Again, hands went into the air.
Have you realised, No matter what I do to the money, people still want it because it doesn’t decrease in value. It is still worth fifty dollar!
My friends, many times in our lives we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into dirt by the decisions we make or the circumstances that come our way. We may feel as though we are worthless, insignificant in our own eyes and in the eyes of others. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, we NEVER lose our value as human beings! Nothing can take that away. Never should you forget that!
Henceforth, you have to accept your value. You have to love yourself and value yourself! You are a winner! You have great value! You have to increase that value of yours by developing yourself more in skills or knowledge and you have to believe your value. You have to believe in yourself.
My friends, you have to get this into your mind. Each and everyone of you, you have great value! You worth than how much you think you are! Believe in that and be that thousand dollar, be that million dollar. No matter what happened, your value still holds.
Life is filled with ups and downs. The difference between you and the others is, you pick yourself up faster than the rest and knowing that your value never drops.
Cheers to all my leaders!

Was in Anderson Primary for a leadership training on Environment. My participants are only Primary three! And yes, getting to know more about leadership at the age of ehhh… NINE!? Ain’t they lucky!? I never got such chance when I was in primary school. If only and if only I had, I would have been a better leader.
I’m good still! haha…
Anyway, would like to share my observation with you.
I got them to split themselves into five teams. Guess what! The more vocal leaders gathered to form their own team. And guess what! They were the slowest in getting the numbers right, i.e. each team consist of around six but they have eight, don’t know who to go. And guess what! They are the noisiest with lots of argument!
On the other hand, the team with no “obvious” leaders were extremely fast to come to a conclusion or make a decision. And eventually, among the six of them, leaders stood out!
I was observing them from a corner. Allowing them to argue and quarrel. And you’ll see how interesting things can be for leaders to work with leaders. They can hardly see things from the same point of view.
But that’s good! You ARE to see things differently. But the process of coming to an agreement should never be hostile. Leaders know how to give and take. That’s when conflict resolution comes into picture.
Heard of “Indian Chief” before my friends !? The Red Indian era? The cowboy era! Those chiefs lead their tribes really well in those days. But what happened when they are too many chiefs in a tribe? Can’t see eye to eye!? FIGHT! That’s why there cannot be many Indian Chief in a team. AND if we should have, they cannot be stubborn and refused to take others suggestions into consideration!
In short, I’m putting them through a series of experiential learning. And my next lesson with them will be on Conflict Resolution and also, how to reduce the Indian Chief phenomenon!
That’s all for now! Cheers!
Looking through my blog and those comments. Great to see comments from leaders of various schools. Keep those comment coming Leaders!
I receive the following from a friend and I want to share it with you. For all leaders, that’s the spirit to adopt!
Have It Your Way
WE all are the deciders and the choosers of who and what we want to be. Did you know
that you can absolutely have exactly what you dream about by just creating a mindset that
allows for the flow of LIFE to be on a constant download of positive thought that will support and assist you in making the kinds of choices that bring you towards the success you are
seeking in any area of your life? It doesn’t have to be hard. It doesn’t have to be anything
other than a glorious adventure that you get to create one step at a time. Are you willing to
choose to embrace what it is in your heart that is calling out to you to be more and more of
your true authentic self and not some made up story that is brought to you by the conditioning of your past or some present limiting belief? You can Have It Your Way every day all you need to do is to name and claim what it is you want and set your intention and the actions you need to take will present themselves to you.
YOU are the only one that can decide where you need to focus your attention to get the results you want in any endeavor you choose to undertake. There is no one else but you who is responsible for the choices you make. You can’t lay blame or play the victim because things don’t go your way. You have to be the accountable one. Once you get this and begin to live from this paradigm then you begin to realize that no matter what may appear to be a challenge or an obstacle to your achieving what you want is really an opportunity presented to you as feedback from the universe telling you that you need to pay attention and stay focused on your goal. And since feedback is just another way to course correct you are given the choice to do what is necessary so you can stay in alignment with your purpose, vision and mission. We all set out in the beginning with a vision in mind in any task we do. I can assure you that along the way you will be pushed and shoved in ma ny different directions in trying to reach that vision. The bottom line is that you can Have It Your Way when you listen to your inner voice that always speaks to you in the language of loving thyself so you will make the decisions
that are in alignment with who you are. Give yourself permission tobuild your success the way you want it to look!
“When you let go of what you think something needs to look like it begins to look like the way you always though it could.”
In my dreams I see magnificence and excellenceIt’s your day…MAKE IT A GREAT ONE!
Hey Leaders!
Good day!
Glad to share with you my happiness! I have been certified a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner! Yays! haha… Sense of accomplishment!
This post topic is on taking risk…
I realised a lot of you are not taking risk in being a leader. Being afraid of taking risk stifle creativity my friends. Taking risk does not necessary means danger or losing or whatsoever! In order for you to Lead Out Loud, you have to take risk. For example, planning a teachers’ day celebration in a very different manner or proposing the first fund raising cannival in school. Doing things differently.
Leadership is not about attending leadership classes or listening to some leadership guru preach. It’s about doing and doing and alot of doing. You have to iron out your own style of leadership and learn through the process my friends. Why are most great leaders in singapore from top notch schools? Frankly, nothing much to do with their education or how well they score in exam. But the way they dare to do things differently and taking up challenges. Of course, having said that, school has to be supportive in the first place.
Taking risk, good and calculated risk. Not bulldozing your way through my friends. You must convince the school that, Hey! I have a great plan here, this are the possible problems and I have solutions to them. Leave it to us and we’ll prove our capabilities!
It’s important to take risk! Else, we will never grow. Always following the senior in things they have done! Isn’t it boring my friends! Following others’ footsteps! Why not creating footsteps for others to follow!?
Remember one thing, you might have attended my leadership trainings but I am no divine here. You can’t master the art of leadership unless you practice it my friends. You have to do to improve! And if you are stuck or lost, who do you turn to!
ME of course! I will be here for you! Any problems you faced with being a leader, drop me a comments! Do not hesitate, leaders do, not wait.
Believe in yourself. For I, believe in you.
There is a leader in everyone of you. Remember.
Cheers!

Hey leaders!
Check out the links below!
New personality test. Much more accurate and clearer. For your reference pls!

Simply change the type number and you’ll get the remaining types. There are 9 different types in all.
Now, time for disclaimers! haha…
Please do not “test” or profile your friends or family members. There are many issues and factors behind this. I am currently going through a course on the enneagram and guess what! I was so confused by the way it profile people and how we can make good use of the enneagram to improve one another. So yes! It’s solely for your information. Know that there is such a profiling test in the market and it’s HARD to master!
I’ll share with you more after mastering it yah!
Cheers!

Hey guys! How’s life!? Please drop me comments yah! As many as possible! Alright! Something to share with you guys today! Here we go…!
How much time is being spent on listening to others? How much of which is quality time? Compare it with the time you spent on talking. Gosh! Big difference!
I realised it’s pretty normal for all of us. Especially the energetic ones. You spend more time trying to get your points across than listening to others why they don’t get your points. It happens to me ALL THE TIME! And it’s time to change! Time to make good use of your ears to listen.
Good listening is essential for everyone to succeed in life, in one way or another.
Stay thinking. How many times have you received scolding/blames/faulted all because of you not listening to instructions? More than never, it’s all because of your ears. It is you who was over zealous, complacent, ignorant…blah blah blah…at that juncture when information/instruction was given. It’s NORMAL! But, we cannot afford to be NORMAL. We only live once, and we must be SPECIAL! SO! We have to change to be SPECIAL!
Don’t live a normal life my friends. Be someone special! And I believe that everyone is SPECIAL in their own ways.
Yeah!
So now. Let me share with you some tips to strengthen your ear power!
1) Pay full attention bu maintaining eye contact
2) Focus your mind on content, not delivery
3) Allow the speaker to finish first before you speak
4) Ask questions to ensure that you are on track
5) Give feedback
I would suggest you try it at home to prove that the 5 simple tips work! Since most of us get scolded by our parents so often for not listening. haha!
Cheers!
Hey friends! How’s life!? Last week was mad for me! Everyday doing leadership training…
For the whole of last week, my focus was on self-leadership. Taking the opportunity to remind all my friends that every single one of us is a Leader. Leader of our own life. No one can lead us other than ourselves.
Don’t get me wrong. Then who’s going to be a follower then. haha.
No one can lead us meaning our OWN life. As in who you want to become and how you want to live your life. You have to know your direction. You have to find it. Often than not, many will tell me they are not sure or they don’t know. To me, it’s an excuse. It’s a sign of fear.
Imagine a ship and you are the captain. Hands on the wheel. You control where the ship is heading, where the ship should go. And that ship is you, your life, your future. You control it. And you have all the freedom to steer it anyhow. But having freedom comes with responsibilities.
Steer it towards the wrong direction and others will hijack your ship. Others will take over your ship and your freedom gone. Others = police, principal, teachers, Discipline Master…
I hope you get what I am trying to say. You lead your life. Lead it well.
I want to see you achieving your goals in life.
Cheers!
